Our M.D. Richard Piercy was proud to be the Quality Consultant for one of the first independent Bodyshops to achieve the B.S.I. PAS125:2007 Kitemark certification in January 2007. The Bodyshop was also involved in the trial of PAS125 in 2006.
He was involved in the implementation of the ISO9001 management system for the Bodyshop and implementing through consultation with the management team and staff the full PAS125 system resulting in certification. Richard experienced first hand how the certification body expects compliance to this specification and what worked for the Bodyshop.
The Specification is intended to standardise the Vehicle Body Repair and Associated Operations, by, training of staff (proof of competences), documented policies and procedure’s (ISO9001), use and maintenance of equipment (PUWER), supply of parts and control of sub-contractors when repairing damaged vehicles.
